Kenyon at mid-60s annual coa.
St. Olaf at mid-40s coa
Wooster at mid-30s coa
Hendrix at 30-ish coa
Beloit at 30-ish coa.
St. Olaf sounds like a great match. A friend’s daughter sounds just like your kid and she is really thriving there. Also, they have a great Environmental Science dept.

We are in-state for CA. Not sure if Michigan is worth 75k/year when we have an in-state option that costs 35k/year.
Us parents prefer Davis over Michigan, but my kid doesn’t care for the campus or location. They had their hopes up for UCLA, UCSB, or UCI but I told them Davis is still a great school in a nice setting.
UC Davis. Close to tech hubs and lower cost.

W&M waitlist/January start
If she really likes W&M, I’d go the January start. Otherwise, maybe Gettysburg.
If she really likes W and M, then I think she’ll also like Gettysburg. I think it’s worth it to go there and start in the fall.
Gettysburg isn't nearly as good a school as WM - I'd take the delayed start at WM
OP—can you describe more about your kid’s personality? Bc that will help with differentiating btw Gettysburg Fall vs W&M Spring. My son is going to W&M and my sister went to Gettysburg.
She’s an introvert but has made friends quickly in the various summer programs she has done. She’s into chorus and theater and interested in continuing on some level in college. We both liked Gettysburg a lot but she applied to W&M ED, and in the last week she is solidifying on W&M spring with a London fall semester. I’m a little concerned about the downsides of the spring start, but not sure it really matters what I think anymore LOL. Sounds like a good number of W&M kids do the London program so will not be coming in totally alone anyway.

Specialization electrical engineering or air and space engineering. Purdue tuition half from the others two. Which one to choose ?

Dickinson - on budget
College of Wooster - on budget
Denison - slightly over budget but can manage if worth it
Kenyon - even more over budget than Dension, but again, could make it work if necessary

UMD Honors (instate tuition and great engineering program, but not a great social fit at all)
Princeton (generous aid, Ivy, loves the campus, and residential housing, it's okay as far as social fit)
Northwestern (likes the campus, school culture, great social fit, and engineering program, but hates the weather)
Rice (the best social fit, loves the school culture, and student is a native Houstonian, but the engineering program is not the strongest out of the group)
