I believe that I read that there will be a Metro exit directly into the arena.

This is a good reason for term limits in DC. She didn't have the vigor or gumption for a third term. A new mayor would've been more hungry for success and making their mark on the city.
PS - I still think USAO is purposely sandbagging the city and letting criminals run free to basically ruin the District for political reasons.

Quite a “destination “
We certainly couldn't build housing there because of all the airplane noise driving the future residents crazy.
Huh? There are condos above the Harris Teeter right after the PY shopping center/Arlington line plus several high rise apartment buildings.

I live in Bethesda and it was a breeze to get to Cap One.
I don't see myself ever venturing to PY for a game.
Why alienate the base so much? Terrible location for anyone outside Arlington/Alexandria
It’s a terrible location for anyone who isn’t walkable or right on the blue or yellow lines. I drive down there 3x/wk and it’s already a yuge mess. Alexandria is very inaccessible to most of the DC area.
Good thing Bethesda has a metro stop. Take metro to Potomac Yard.

Youngkin wasn't going to let stupid "issues" like affordable housing and mass transit stop this thing from happening. He smartly located this on the Alexandria side of National Landing so the stupid missing middle housing and reform prosecution in Arilngton won't derail this. To their credit Arlington Police are ruby-red in their politics, but you can't take a chance on trying to work with the People's Republic.
No, this isn’t going to help Mr. Religious Nutter. It’s going to be a huge mess. And he was toast as soon as he started with his attack on women.
Sorry but no. It’s another brilliant move by Youngkin. And BTW all the women I know who live in NOVA think he’s great.
You must know very few women in NOVA.
