I am a newbie. What type of $ do these commits usually get in scholarships?

Players can commit to D3 at anytime and D2 contact day is actually June 15. Frostburg was the first school I saw commit a 25 on the 15th and they committed there second girl on August 30.

Agred. The only person that could possibly become this unglued and respond in such a manner would be a YJMA coach or recruiting coordinator.

Well, "good" depends on how you rank a school. JMU is impressive - awesome team. But most of these schools have neither great teams or great academics.

NESCAC schools commit summer before senior year. Other DIII schools may commit players earlier if they want the player and the star align, including around grades.

No they don't. You are thinking NESCAC, which is D3 but the very high academics and they wait until summer before senior year. D3 as a whole doesn't have a time frame like D1 and D2 do because they don't have athletic scholarships.
