Funny thing is that the girls who are leaving other teams for Hero’s or M&D have already received and accepted offers and notified their old teams that they’re not returning. I don’t understand why they have these pretend “tryouts”.

To figure out who they are cutting.

And make money off the tryout fees.

That's where the drama is.

Why would there be drama at a tryout? Or do you mean who makes it?

How many Hero's girls show up at the MnD tryout and who will they backfill them with? Major transition year.

There were only a few girls that left NL for MCE. Not enough to make a difference. And their coaches were always changing without notice. MCE changed their coaches mid-season right before spring practices. The lack of transparency and gaslighting was the reason why their players left for YJMA and BLC.

That MD team started at NL, moved to MCE, then to YJMA. It’s not the coaches. Read between the lines.

Reading between the lines - new coaches every year or every few years is not a bad thing. NL 2030s are at a national ranking of #120 and MCE is at #200. The YJMA team in its first year is at top #20 under this model of coaching and development. Looks like it's working well for them.

Is changing to a new coach every year by plan? I thought it was mostly by circumstance.

I’m sorry I wasn’t more specific. I should have been bc I see this is a 2030 thread. My daughter is a 2032 and that is what I meant, 3 coaches were listed in offer and they are high schoolers.

Is it standard for coaches to be listed in the offer?

There are 2 girls who were together at NL 4 years ago who are still on the YJMA team next year, I wouldn’t count that. This team largely came together 3 years ago at MCE, spent 2 years there together and moved clubs as a team to YJMA last year where they’ve done pretty well with solid coaching.
