Seems like the southbound river operation has gotten a lot quieter for folks living along the river. Northbound takeoffs are still noisy (on the moco side). Any idea when the northbound changes will be implemented?

Same here. I don't even bother to set an alarm anymore -- that 6:00am flight is like clockwork. EVERY DAY.
Beyond that, I don't really notice it too much. The only other time I really noticed it was a couple years back on the athletic field at a school function. The head of school had to stop and wait for the jet noise to died down in the middle of his speech.

Please provide links to any other forum with so much information on the issue. The only place I know of is the community noise group at DCA that has been behind some of the recent changes, especially those in MoCo, but one needs a lot of time and patience to go through all the documents.

More big changes are on the way, as soon as mid-July, so the thread should be very relevant.
As the OP who created this thread, thanks! I'm also excited to see what changes mid-July.
Note that there is a community meeting on zoom on July 25th at 6pm EST that anyone can attend. The link is available on the link you shared (https://www.flyreagan.com/about-airport/aircraft-noise-information/dca-reagan-national-community-working-group).

It is a really lovely area but with a lot of airplane noise especially on days with North Flow operations.
