Omg I live in a lovely home on a loud ass street. Have lived here for 2@ years. It has gotten worse. When we first moved here, there was the bus outside which announced its destination in its to o voice, and there were the emergency vehicles. We live near hospitals and a fire station. During the pandemic for some reason there were road crews out constantly digging up the pavement and putting it back. Like a dental drill but louder. The souped up engines with loud bass have now become a nonstop menace.

We’re moving finally. But I would warn anyone I cared about not to buy in a loud area! You might really regret it (I think my husband lost some hearing too).

Wow! The process the jurisdictions of PG, Fairfax and Alexandria are following is very impressive. Public forums, solicitation of feedback....None of this was done in the case of the GPS arrival procedure they are currently implementing North of the airport.

Note that there is a community meeting on zoom on July 25th at 6pm EST that anyone can attend. The link is available on the link you shared (https://www.flyreagan.com/about-airport/aircraft-noise-information/dca-reagan-national-community-working-group).

I believe that changes in arrival procedures already went into effect a few days ago. The changes are primarily in Montgomery County, north and west of Cabin John. This is a great resource to see how airplanes fly now.
