Because it was already decided by the Supreme Court and NO ONE goes against the stare decisis. Meaning that it would have looked dumb to put it into law when it was already a protected right. EVERY single judge on that court said they would respect stare decisis- even specifically with Roe v Wade. They are all liars. If anything they likely worked with states/entities so that they could rule in favor of it. They are traitors- to their profession, to the country, to their oaths.
And they should be convicted of lying under oath.
Those statements are public. Why are men of this statue ALWAYS (see Donald Trump) allowed to get away with breaking the law!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, but women (and men who love women) should walk out of their jobs/homes until it’s fixed.
Go on strike a la Poland.
No make sure you go to jury duty and any abortion case you find not guilty. Jury nullification. There will be enough support that big government can never get a conviction. It will be a middle finger to Alito and company.

How would leak benefit her?

+100000000
And more appalling that these were judges appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote.
We are no longer a functional representative democracy.

You know, since he cited the increased desire for adoption as part of the reasoning that unwinding this decision wouldn’t place an undue burden on women by forcing them to maintain pregnancy and give birth against their wishes. We’re nothing more than vessels/incubators to him. Not actually humans, with equal rights under the law to have control of our own bodies and health. This would never be an issue if men were the ones who became pregnant. Never.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you want to force birth then you also should be champing full health care for pregnant women as well as at least 6 weeks paid maternity leave. Who goes up further and demand reasonable rates of child care so people can actually go back to work. You know and not be a drain on society that they all hate

Anyone that might assist a person seeking an abortion could be in violation if some of these crazy laws and what does that even mean? Can your student discuss it, or give someone a ride or belong to a pro choice organization, etc etc?
Maybe find a state for your son'snand daughters educations that have some respect for the reproductive rights of the people in that state.
I crossed UT-Austin off the college list for my kids. I am not paying tuition for my daughter - not my son - to any state where abortion is restricted.

Reminds me of Andrew Jackson's quote: "The Supreme Court has made its decision, now let them enforce it."
