I got estimates for an inground pool a few years ago and I was looking at 120 K, nearly 50 of that was complying with arcane Fairfax county permitting rules.
My yard is pretty level so that big ugly effer is going to sit right out on top where everyone can see it!

These are pools that last 20-50 years. My old house I inherited a top of line above ground pool installed in 1981. It lasted to 2011. These are not Amazon pools. You put it up kids little they will last till the youngest graduates college. My pool I hear owner put it up in 1981 for his kids. I think they were 40 by time it gave out!

Strongly considering an above ground pool; our local pool is 2k this season because of some assessment and I don’t really care what my neighbors think.
