Zero people should have voted for Kavanaugh. He raged during his hearing, was credibly accused of an attempted rape and was a political hack for decades. And for those who say that he was justified for having been accused of attempted rape: remember his obsession with Bill Clinton’s sex life. He had no right to be upset.
KBJ, on the other hand: if the GOP weren’t a flaming bag of poop, she should be unanimously confirmed.
Political hack? Maybe. He certainly has a hyper-partisan past, but I disagree that being political means one cannot be an objective and fair judge.
Raged? He was emotional (overly) but wasn't in a state of rage.
Accused of rape? Yes. Fortunately we live in a society that still requires proof for allegations and (allegedly) presumes innocence until guilt is proven. Christine Blasey Ford had no proof or corroboration to her claims.
Signed, someone who is ideologically a 180 from Kavanaugh.
He was not on trial. The hearing was a confirmation hearing. She was absolutely entitled to tell that story and she was absolutely credible. He showed very poor character and it is terrible that he has been given so much power to make rulings that affect all of us and our daughters and sons.
But big congratulations to KBJ!
+2. He was at a job interview. He showed poor disposition, character, and ability to be dispassionate. He was not entitled to that job and the "investigation" that was done to prop him up was a joke. His reaction during the hearings -separate and apart from the rape allegations- alone should have disqualified him.

Not really if you step back and think about it. There've only been 116 justices on the Supreme Court, with many of them serving during a time when the union had fewer states than it does now. I haven't run the numbers but I'm sure there are plenty of states that've never had a Supreme Court justice.

Raged? He was emotional (overly) but wasn't in a state of rage. Watch again. He was a sneering, raging mass of uncontrolled emotions who accused a senator of being a drunk.
Accused of rape? Yes. Fortunately we live in a society that still requires proof for allegations and (allegedly) presumes innocence until guilt is proven. Christine Blasey Ford had no proof or corroboration to her claims. The WH scuttled the investigation. So we never got a true investigation.

“a 180 from Kavanaugh” = “fully supports Kavanaugh”
