WARNING for people who didn't understand what went down last week:
The DOJ investigations just ordered by Trump will lock most of the docs that Congresspeople want to release. Due to the legal process, they will not be available to the public for the duration of these investigations.
That was the entire point of launching these investigations: preventing the release of the DOJ's files.
The House is voting on Tuesday to release the files. Then the Senate must vote. If they have a veto-proof majority, Trump as President cannot oppose their release.
But by that time, the files might all be on lockdown due to spurious new investigations by the weaponized DOJ.
Keep your eyes peeled.
Sneaky move by Bondi and trump, wasn't it? Nevertheless, this won't stop Maxwell's and Epstein's families. The genie is out of the bottle and nothing can put it back.
I posted already that there had been hardly any leaks so far. It's not in Maxwell's interests for everyone to get confirmation that she's guilty, because it makes it harder for Trump to pardon her, and if everything gets out, she loses all her leverage. Don't know what the Epsteins want, but the fact is, no one has any proof either has been leaking.
This is why I need all of you to take the recently announced investigations seriously. There is a significant risk none of us are going to see the rest of the files any time soon.

Apparently, there are 2 human, non clinton, bubbas in the trump/epstein world. Maxwell also had a horse named bubba. The plot thickens...
Oh gross!

They haven't done much leaking, PP. The 20K emails that were just released last week were part of a legal release by the bipartisan House Oversight Committee. The Democrats on the Committee released a few emails, and then the Republicans on the same Committee, not to be outdone, and in an effort to drown out the "Trump spent several house with (victim) in my house" email, threw us the rest of the 20K. Which is where amateur sleuths read about the blowing Bubba question and Epstein spending Thanksgiving with Trump in 2017, when Trump was already President and had lied that he'd broken all ties with Epstein.
Considering the explosive nature of some of the evidence, surprisingly little has leaked. Months ago, someone sent the WSJ the birthday card written by Trump to Epstein, which was in the possession of the House Oversight Committee. Trump immediately started a lawsuit, which is still ongoing.
The House Oversight Committee received all these documents legally from the Epstein estate.
Maybe Dems can use this as leverage to keep Trump in line with a threat of leaking the info. I want justice for those girls, and every last pedo brought to justice, but if we can hold it over the billionaires so that low income folks can get full SNAP benefits back, people can get ACA subsidies, food prices to come down, then I'd be willing to forgo some of the more salacious stuff.
