STOP trying to bring a BLACK MAN down just because you are AGAINST interracial relationships doesn’t mean that what Jen and Tyler have to CARE. In FACT, Jen SUPPORTING Tyler’s career could be considered a form of REPARATIONS (look it up!), NOT a sign that their relationship is a PR stunt. If their relationship is UNEQUAL, it is to make up for HUNDREDS of years of WHITE SUPREMACY.
Black woman here, married to a white man. Chimed in earlier today, and also in earlier pages, hoping Jen would dump Tyler and do better, because I think she can. If it’s a better man who is white, great. If it’s a better man who is black, also great. I am currently laughing out loud at the notion that my husband marrying me or supporting my career could ever in any way be spun (by even a crazy individual) to suggest that it is reparations to make up for hundreds of years of white supremacy. Bless your heart. I would bet all the cash in my wallet that those enthusiastically-capitalized statements were spewed by a white lady who thinks we need her coming to our defense. Us black gals know we aren’t victims needing reassurances from white relationships. I married a person, not his skin. Hopefully Tyler doesn’t think Jen is dating him because she feels guilty about their ancestors’ history. What a weird take on the matter. Did I bless your heart already?
Boom. This. 100%. Your cheap race bating post has now been utterly destroyed.
LEARN how to READ. Just because SOME of you CLAIM not to SEE race does NOT mean RACISM does NOT influence SOME people’s negative BIAS towards Tyler. If this does NOT apply to you, MOVE along!
OH and this LONG trail of EVIDENCE that Tyler is NOT a good BOYFRIEND?! I’ve YET to SEE anything.
OH and Jen’s FRIENDS are NOT allowed to DEFEND her now without being DISMISSED?? ONLY people with NO connection to Jen can have an OPINION??

The denim jumpsuit. The hat on that pastor. Loving all of this snark.
Is the Reddit thread on her worth it, can anyone say, comparing this to that?
The Reddit sub barely has any action but last week someone posted that Tyler DMd her lewd comments while he was in a relationship with Jen. Supposedly he’s still all over the ladies on insta.

Another LCMS person here. After years of discouragement and church hopping, we've been here 12 years and so thankful. We wish we had raised all our kids here. No nonsense, no random sermons, solid sound orthodox teaching, no cultishness and NO make myself happy stuff. Beautiful music and all sorts of people coming together to worship God. Nobody has had a new thought in 500 years thank God!!
Seriously, we are not deconstructing here. We are grateful for the wisdom of those who came before us.

This is such a ridiculous post.
So many dumb unrelated arguments!
We are all going to have so much fun pulling this apart over the best few days!
It seems that just for being in the vicinity of a Jen Hatmaker conversation, the words “next few days” went ahead and autocorrected to “best few days” 😅

First, Texas Barbie is such a MISOGYNISTIC label. Yes, Tina looks INCREDIBLE but don’t reduce her to some plastic bimbo. And DO NOT make Jen feel bad just because she looks like a normal woman and not Tina.
