I’m working while listening to the murder trial and I’m confused. At first it seemed like the Commonwealth fumbled, but today it felt like the defense fumbled instead. Did any of the witnesses today actually help the defense?

He definitely wants to get his pension. I don’t think he left a good impression, he couldn’t make any conclusive statements, and while the defense wants to believe this crusader was wrongly transferred for his commitment to truth, they are just as likely to conclude that he didn’t do a good job, was difficult, etc. I suspect he’s a wash at best.

Starting early tomorrow at 9:30 and asked the jury if they’re available on Friday due to the impending snowstorm so they can stay on schedule.

The ME testified that there were shallow and deep cuts. As if someone has made cuts and also pressed the knife in.
That makes sense since Juliana testified that BB was disappointed about the type of knife JR was bringing. According to her, he mentioned a sharper knife would make it easier.

People keep saying stabbed but based on the ME - it seems she was cut not stabbed. The wounds weren’t deep enough to be considered stab wounds. So if Brendan sliced her jugular, wouldn’t he be covered in spray? What was that digital forensics guy for?
