The top programs in the area have starting line ups full of kids who are already going to play for top colleges. They are not going to need freshman. If a 2025 starts it says less about the team not how good the player is. Be happy to play JV

Overall the 25’ class is a little weaker than usual, but could uptick with some holdbacks.
There will be 0 25’s that will contribute to any of the top 4-5 WCAC teams.
IAC will be the same with the exception of maybe a kid or two at Landon and a kid a SSSAS/Episcopal.

It is not in this area.
And I would think SJC would beat anyone in MIAA. And Prep and Landon are as good as any of the MIAA teams this year. Would go 50:50 against MCD, Latin, Calvert Hal, or Spalding. Maybe MIAA is deeper, but not clearly better.
SJC and Spalding have played the last few years with Spalding winning each time.
In a real game? No. Scrimmages and Fall don't count. SJC was about to play Calvert Hall right after Covid hit (3/13/20).
CH finished 6 last year in the miaa
