Congrats on the commitment. And yeah, they moved it locally to Maryland.
Have a committed child too, and I think this exercise is less about expecting that this earns them playing time in HS or even a D1 offer (not possible with the rule change), but more about helping the kids themselves see what they need to work on, where they fit, and just getting used to a bigger stage than what they have had at some of the tournaments, HoCo, etc. So totally agree that its important to right size expectations, but its just wonderful that the DMV has three teams entered in the qualifier not counting those around B'more. Great for the area win or lose.
