It's been on for a while now, a lot of it is,"thanks to the president's leadership" , and you can see most of the other people, when they say that actually seem to hesitate, even Pence. The most important news is that we are going to have drive through testings now at Walmart, target, cvs and walgreens, and there are more test kits available, as well as a website to check your symptoms and find the closest drive through.

Website still says 10 positive case, people here saying they know of presumptive positive cases in the last couple of days. They lost all the credibilities when they started hiding the data. Hard to imagine they had no new case in 48 hours!

Also, what needs to be deliberated and negotiated for hours that you have to delay or postpone a press conference by this much and this often?

Washington Post said as of Thursday number is 11. Sounds like they are hiding the truth and that makes me more nervous than if they just reported bad numbers.

Can states / the District not get whatever tests South Korea and other countries are using? Must we go with the (non-existent) CDC kits??

In an hour, I bet we'll hear of a Cheesecake Factory portion size batch of new cases.

Instead of being 45 minutes late this time, the press conference was postponed by 3 1/2 hours.

Not a single new case on March 12 and 13? Uh huh, right!

Just to clarify, Bowser press conference is now at 4 pm.

Yes sorry, maybe that wasn't clear.

But how could they possibly have posted at 12:55pm that there are no new cases?

No new cases? That is simply not credible...

Probably want the kids to all be home from school before they tell us the news.

Or waiting for the president to speak.

THEY ARE NO TESTING, I hope they get plenty of questions on that.

They are. I know of a couple confirmed (presumptive) cases from the past couple days.

Then why are they hiding the data? they are probably just testing a couple of people and are too embarrassed to show that...

The case info for yesterday's cases is in the https://coronavirus.dc.gov website, but under Press Releases, "Coronavirus Data Update: March 11"

I came here to say that as reassuring it is to finally see email after email canceling events, I am not feeling comfortable at all as I wait for today's new batch of cases.

I came to ask why it hasn’t been updated in over 24 hours. Is there a new reporting location? Trying to conceal true numbers until they have a plan?

IIRC, Monday night'a data was posted at 9.45pm, and the Deputy Mayor tweeted the case info at 10:10pm.

On the DC covid website it seems to only have data posted every other day- so math 7th, 9th and 11th so maybe it will be updates tomorrow?

I have been monitoring this site every day since the beginning. It used to be updated everyday until 2 days ago when they removed some data (pending cases, negative tests etc) and they posted one more updated that afternoon to move the case numbers from 4->10. Since that, radio silence. Anyone believe they have not been any new cases in 2 days?? They have some explaining to do.
