Unfortunately, the tabloids have lots of stories about how wild they are. Not in a good way.

Well THAT is a reputable link if I've ever seen one.

THIS!! A billion times. Between my own husband and a couple of guys I work with, it's really bizarre how some 50-something men become intensely seethingly frustrated with their lives as they hit middle age....
Really? Most of them seem to be pretty darned happy with life as far as I can tell.
I'm with PP. Hell hath no fury like a balding/greying middle aged man whose penis is flagging and whose drinking is catching up to him. I am in my late 20s, but I see a lot of these among the wealthy, connected men at my workplace.

I would like to know just how much abuse was happening or how much was just disciplining or late effort at trying to discipline and Angelina is using it as a weapon. I think she has major mental issues too, so she should be careful if CPS gets involved as she might end up looking bad as well. After the leak of e-mails we know Hollywood people hate her, so this will be an interesting circus to watch. But, it is sad for the kids.
Angelina has marketed and changed her image countless times.
The heroin/cutting late adolescent years.
The wild sex/Velcro rooms/and blood vials/sucking with Billy Bob
The vixen that stole Brad.
The family woman with a heart of gold. Very maternal and calm and innocent.
The UN/Audrey Hepburn mother Theresa.
The latest: the victim.
She always struck me as so incredibly mentally unstable. I guess that is coming out now.
Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. She's been acting her way through life.
And now reinventing herself as the brave survivor of an abusive spouse. Yawn. Yeah, whatevah.
.

You really think she wants a CPS investigator interviewing her kids rather than a quiet divorce?
If it will give her the power to call the shots? Sure. The end justifies the means.
Doesn't play with her controlled image. I don't see this as necessary. You don't need fault in divorce proceedings.
Her controlled image? She's crazy jealous, they've been fighting all year long, she's hated his parenting style for years. He's from Missouri, he wants some proper behavior from his kids. Through no fault of their own, they've been raised to be wild children.

+1000. Also, look at the celebrity men who've been revealed to have vicious tempers. Johnny Depp, Mel Gibson, Alec Baldwin, etc. Angry middle aging is not just for the middle class.
It's MANopause.

I didn't watch Orphan Black, but could it be based on Angelina?

Joking aside, isn't it ironic that all this time so many people have been feeling sorry for Jen (including me), but as it turns out Angelina probably inadvertently saved her from Brad's rages and crazy behavior? Dontcha think?
I don't know. I think living with Angelina's insanity and all those kids, while still working on high-profile movies, has to be pretty intense. Not that abuse, if he did that, would ever be justified, but I really doubt he'd be living this same life if he's stayed with Jen.
