Iran will not deal with Trump or Israel. So this will last till there is change of leadership(or regime change) in the US and Israel. Iran can do this for 2-3 years with no problem. The US and Israel can not.

Makes sense from Iran's point of view. The US answers to Israel's interests and Israel has no interest in stopping this conflict.

Exactly my anxiety. K shape. Are we headed up or down on the K?

Up to a month ago, I thought down. I feel we may be up due to some professional news for DH and I (separately). We are in AI proof jobs. His less so than mine. Mine is AI proof but not high paying.

If the US stayed with the Paris Accords and electrification, then Trump could have had helped Israel destroy the oil economy and be an economic hero back home.

And somehow, the right will blame the president that takes office in 2029.

lol it will take 5-7 years to restore the infrastructure in the gulf thanks to Israel and the US attacks on Iran. Oil price will remain above $125-$130 for the next 5 years. The recession is here now.

Fascism isn’t always hiding bad news. Sometimes it’s hiding good news.

Facism is always trying to get you to believe a false reality because it can’t make a good one for you, or doesn’t want to….

It makes me so angry when the Trump admin lies to us, does anyone actually believe this nonsense?
“ Bessent says that gas prices could be 'lower' than prior to Iran war after conflict ends
At a Senate appropriation subcommittee hearing today, treasury secretary Scott Bessent told lawmakers that he anticipates gas prices to plummet as soon as the war in Iran ends.

Bessent added that fuel costs could be “perhaps lower” than before the conflict began. Currently, the average price for a gallon of gasoline in the US is over $4, up from $2.98 in late February, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).”

Everyone knows it will take many years to return to the prices Feb 27, if we ever do.
