Oprah was an industry/intel mockingbird plant. Same for Ellen. Same for Barbara Walters. Same for Rosie O'Donnell before them (her show was gigantic in the late 90s, early 00s).
What does this mean?

This is not the victory for the poor kid (tween), that it is being portrayed as. Dad should be ashamed for running to get into a scrape on the ground with an older woman.
The entire thing on all sides is so unbelievable prole and cringe. It’s a dumb baseball that costs $4. Who in the hell cares? In an interview you can tell the guys’ son and daughter couldn’t get less about it.
We once had a drunk guy from several seats over crash into our family to try to catch a stupid FOUL ball. He didn’t catch it. People are such pathetic losers.

Is this an unpopular opinion?
I'd be surprised if most people have any feelings about drag performers other than vague confusion. They're not really pop culture. Fringe culture.
They’re not fringe anymore. Maybe 30 years ago.
Outside of DC they are fringe. Even in DC..

It landed in front of her by an unoccupied seat. It was fair game, next time she should lean forward and try to actually catch it. Bring a glove if you want a ball that bad.

Not talking about movies that had planned sequels such as Star Wars and LOTR.
I thought the first Matrix movie was great, with an ambiguous ending that led you to speculate about possible outcomes.
Same with the first Pirates of the Caribbean, Johnny Depp was great in that, but in the subsequent movies, his character became a caricature of himself, which was a turnoff.
The worst is when two characters have their happily ever after, then they make a sequel years later where you learn they broke up shortly after the end of the first movie, but now have a chance to rekindle things. Total letdown.

Remember when Rosie had to pretend she was straight and that she had a huge crush on Tom Cruise? LOL
