They never imagined Trump would do this. Funny thing is many people not only imagined it, they warned it was true. Especially since he and his administration said it. Maybe if folks stop trying to make excuse for his behavior, rhetoric, and stop trying to make his comments means something different than what he said, everyone wouldn’t have this problem.
