your question answers itself - a "turncoat" would not want to go back, nor would MadLax want them. so the answer is zero.

27 - DCE
32 - MadLax
35 - Next Level

nobody can be very happy with these rankings. all three rosters are too big, so I expect the bottom third of the roster all three teams will be a revolving door as kids chase playing time. So in that sense, there may be 3-4 DCE players going to ML, and another 3-4 going to Next Level.
But I can't imagine why a player in the top half of the roster on any of these teams moving.

Well ... Annapolis is its usual solid self, Crabs just outside the top 20, the rest 30's or worse. Even taking out "national" teams (and ML and NL have to be included in those nowadays so their mediocre showings in particular gotta make you wonder), not a good year for the area, certainly not compared with prior years. Just not a very strong class, locally.

2 freshman at Landon are scoring goals and getting time. I think 1 is 4th attack.

I believe that is only currently a rule in MIAC, not IAC, though I agree a 20 year old high school kid is ridiculous.

As I understand the rule, you can turn 20 and still play as long as you were 19 or under at the start of the school year.

You may not turn 20 before Sept 1. You are also limited to 4 years of varsity sports in the IAC.

Four years of varsity sports in the IAC means just that: In the IAC. If the other years were outside the IAC it doesn't matter.

No. If you play two years of Varsity in some other state, and move to an IAC school to reclassify as a sophomore— you do not get to play 3 more years in the IAC. You get 2, assuming you’re not 20 by Sept 1st your senior year

That may be the rule, but it is not well enforced especially in basketball

Two different posts, Sherlock. One thread about being limited to 4 varsity seasons playing in the IAC. Another post about certain kids being “very developed” as freshmen, to which someone noted a kid from Madlax who has already played two varsity seasons by last summer, yet he’s on a 2028 team— where the rest of the kids are just starting their first high school season this spring.

Doesn’t matter. Holdbacks are holdbacks, part of the game. If there’s a kid who really has already played 2 years of Varsity lacrosse, and he’s currently a freshman— he won’t likely get to play more than two of the next 4 seasons he’ll be a high school student.
