Nikki Haley seems like a good middle of the road choice and she has a background in government.
Any thoughts? MAGA crazies need not reply.
She isn't a middle of the road candidate. She has spent the last 6 months kowtowing to Trump and only now has made a few swipes at him, but will still vote for him if he is the nominee. She is willing to sign an abortion ban, so no thanks, not middle of the road, just not full on crazy MAGA.

Agree. I hope she's in talks with the Liz Cheney wing to do just that. It would take A LOT for me to pull the lever for Nikki Haley, but if she fully repudiates Trump and is on the ballot I might do it.
Why not just vote for Biden?
PP here. I will say this even though people don't like it - Biden is an old man who is not all there. Trump is an old man who is not all there and is crazy and dangerous to boot. I trust the people Biden hires to maintain stability, and stability is what I value most at this time.
I believe Haley would also bring stability, and she's not an old man that's not all there. I am heartily sick of the gerontocracy running things. Nikki Haley is the type of person we should see running for President. But as I said, she'd have to officially repudiate Donald Trump and go the way of Liz Cheney. So that's a lot of ifs.
Exactly. This is what the misguided Trump and Biden sheep fail to understand. Some people believe there should be standards that have to be met in order for someone to be considered for the most powerful job in the world. Trump and Biden clearly don't meet any rational standards for the POTUS position and therefore many of us won't be duped into voting for them again. The RNC and DNC folks can whine and throw temper tantrums all they want but until they run legitimate presidential candidates, many of us won't reward them for their failures by casting votes for their way.
