Potomac players were at that concert too. It was the skipping practice part that got PVI into trouble, evidently. It was no problem going to practice, then to concert.
Good for the coach to bench them for missing practice. During season priority should be lacrosse. They are letting their team down by being selfish.
Priority should be school. Then lacrosse.

Anonymous wrote:Agree. As an observer episcopal is a team of elite players with excellent coaching. Each girl they rotated in was as good as the next. Although they played their starters for the most part. SJC just fell apart and didn’t do anything to adjust. Maybe they just didn’t have enough talent to make adjustments. Although the babe a hard time believing that. . To go into halftime tied and to then go scoreless for two quarters. SJC does needs to be more aggressive on the goal. Episcopal’s defense was one of the best defenses seen I’ve seen. There were many times SJC players had fast breaks to then start passing the ball around to then turn it over. That’s not how you win against an Episcopal or any team.

Episcopal is very good and has superior depth. 3rd game in 4 days for them as well.
This is the difference between the truly top teams and the DMV teams that have a good year here and there when the coaches did decent recruiting a few good players for high school. None of the DMV teams actually develop talent the way schools like EA, McDonogh, and Darien do.

Episcopal PA=11 SJC=5
Tied @ Half. Episcopal played a ton of girls and their sub rotation just wore SJC out as their starters ran out of gas with no subs.
