He reminds me of Tiger Woods. Uses women.

And yet, here you are repeating the same "gold digger" passionate responses over and over.

You femcels keep repeating the same Costner smears over and over.

Just pointing out pp's hypocrisy.

If he had such an ironclad prenup I'm sure he also had an NDA so she can't write anything disparaging about him.

LOL she doesn't need to write anything. Most of us are figuring out what a class act he ain't.

But how does us knowing he is a jerk affect him really?

I really don't think these very successful, established Hollywood producer/director/actors are affected by what the public thinks about their private lives.

Their "Q" score matters to studio heads, and therefore matters to them. As always, it comes down to $$$.

He's so wealthy already. He could just live off his investments.

But he doesn't want to. He's developing a huge new project and needs backing for it.

This ex that he screwed over? https://www.vanityfair.com/style/2022/05/before-johnny-depp-and-amber-heard-sondra-locke-and-clint-eastwoods-harrowing-court-battle

He had a prenup with the second wife.

Eastwood was generous with the first wife, whom he openly cheated on but they remained amicable after their divorce. He wasn’t married to Sondra Locke, they had no kids together and they had a nasty breakup so she was out of luck. He is on very good terms with Frances Fisher, another ex whom he wasn’t married to and the mother of one of his daughters.

He didn’t have a choice. There was no pre-nup. That’s why subsequent wives had prenups and/or he didn’t marry his other long term relationship.

Never cared for Sondra Locke's acting looks, or personality. She was a nobody when they started dating.

Well that's a random non sequitor.

Back to the topic, Christine seems to be doing okay to me. She effectively got child support doubled from what it was. I doubt she expected to get all she was asking for.

She got half the child support she requested. She has 5 years to collect child support so she needs to make good financial choices. Overall, the rulings seem to be going in Kevin's favor so I'm not usre what her attorneys are doing.

But double what he offered.

PP here. Probably doesn't. Some people care what family, friends, work colleagues, and the general public think. I would, but I can certainly appreciate that he probably doesn't. He just seems really arrogant and controlling.

I haven't gotten that impression of him on interviews and he wrote a wonderful eulogy to Whitney Houston. For the sake of his children with Christine, I hope he is able to parent them despite the animosity from this divorce.

PP here. I hope you're right. I do remember his eulogy to Whitney. Very touching. (She's one of my favorite singers, ever.)

It’s tough if not impossible to break a well-drawn prenup. My guess is all her lawyers can really do is fight it on the radical difference in COL 20 years after signing, if anything. So the main issue is child support, which is temporarily settled.

The COL argument is a valid one. That is probably why she got the increase.

I don't think she got an increase, I believe she asked for $259k and got $143k.

It was an increase from his original offer.
