This. And seriously helping to arm Ukraine. If this was done back in 2014, we wouldn’t be where we are now. But now is better than 8 years down the road again:
Arming Ukraine (whatever that means) isn't going to make any difference.
Sanctions won’t make a difference, supporting with weapons won’t make a difference, responding to infowar, won’t make a difference according to you. That’s very convenient. Then just sitting back and watching the Russian troops roll through is the best course of action according to you, if everything else “won’t make a difference”. Either you’re defeatist or a Russian troll who’s trying to discourage any sort of support.

Will that be enough when Russia's military is so much larger than theirs? I find it hard to believe they'll be able to hold Russia off without other countries stepping in with troops.
It was enough for the Taliban. It’s one thing to win an invasion, quite another an occupation. Apparently the Ukrainians are preparing to inflict maximum carnage on any invading army. As a mom myself I find it very powerful when Ukrainian women are gearing up to blow the heads off Russian 18-year olds. Not sure Putin is going to be able to handle having thousands of maimed and killed Russian kids on his hands for a vanity project.

Pp, they have been holding Russia off for the past 8 years. Ukraine’s military is weaker than Russia, but it’s not tiny or weak.

The US and its European allies have played this as best as can be expected. If Russia continues down this road, it will be destroyed economically.
You overestimate the west’s economic power. This isn’t 1990 anymore.
There will be ripple effects across all major economies. Russia is an extraordinarily bad actor with an insanely large inferiority complex. The Germans are a prime enabler of its behavior by pumping billions into Russia’s economy whilst ensuring its long term dependence on Russian gas…..its sheer insanity.

That’s exactly what happened in 2008 Georgia and 2014 Ukraine. So, there is nothing surprising about it. And you’ll be saying this again in 6-8 years about a different country or territory.

But the problem is... Ukraine will not be saved. That is sad.
