Wife did a lot. I later found the girlfriends were a cover story/alibi for her meeting the AP. She would sometimes meet the girlfriend early send a photo of them drinking and then head off to the hotel to stay with him. Girlfriend lived closer to bars so it seemed plausible for being safe and not driving home.
She was manipulative as hell and a stone cold liar.
Women cheat just as often as men - sometimes more often than men.
“Girls night out / too much to drink” is not an uncommon cover story for a cheating wife.
Add in the presence of a man who’d bedded her many times before (and her lies to her husband) and it is obvious what really happened that night with Tom.
Yep, girls night out, had too much to drink, had to spend the night somewhere else because, didn't want to drive home drunk of course.
This is a universally shared lie that women tell. Don't ever fall for it.

So true. Liars have an impossible task of remembering all the details of their lies, so they get tripped up when they re-tell a story some time later. She forgot that she omitted Tom the first time, for good reason.Anonymous wrote:This is how liars are. She forgot she omitted Tom 5 years ago because she didn't want you to make the connection he was there and she didn't come home. Obviously she was with him.
Now she outed herself by accidentally including him in the list. My cheating ex use to do stuff like that all the time. I have a good memory, and when he changed the story I easily noted it.

Anonymous wrote:Obviously you caught her in a lie. A spouse that lies isn't one I would covet too much. Doesn't mean you should divorce, but I wouldn't take her too seriously at this point.
Put yourself, your kids, and pets first and foremost.

How can you be so sure? And,
- if nothing happened with Tom that night, why did she lie and also stay out all night long?
