She is the ONLY one who dresses like that.
She would never be allowed to dress like that in a corporate law firm.
Lucky for her she got elected Senator and doesn't have to work at a corporate law firm
I appreciate that she makes bold choices and owns her style, even if I don't always like how it comes up
AOC has a totally different style. Much more traditional. She looks gorgeous in everything, and chooses good clothes for herself. But it's sort of bananas to compare her style with Sinema, who is just off on a frolic of her own. One I usually enjoy! Even that weird black dress and denim outfit - I would love to have a conversation with her about how the heck she ended up wearing that to work. I bet there's some story.

The entire ensemble was wrong: black baby tee shirt with cap sleeves, jewelry, dark make-up. Eeww.
I hadn’t seen the bottom half until today. Good lord.
I hadn't seen that, either. My jaw literally dropped.
She's just so tacky. (I'm a Democrat, FWIW.)
AOC is like tons of other people who have inherently decent taste and grew up without money. Dressing well requires creativity and resourcefulness. Sales, secondhand stores...my grandmother sewed lots of my mom's dresses and they were beautiful. AOC knows what works for her, too. And no, she'll never get a fair shake. People will always assume she's shady.

You would think there would be a dress code.

She is a fantastic public speaker though and has excellent political instincts. Unfortunately she also doesn't really get into nuances and sticks to totally unrealistic proposals peddle by the UK's The Guardian and the like.
If I ad to guess, I'd say she wears a lot of Theory.
I saw a video that she did on IG, and she buys a lot of second-hand designer clothing.
I think that is easy to claim and a good way to downplay consumerism and excessive spending while you push a progressive agenda. But I’m sure she buys plenty of stuff new or is gifted it by designers. She and Nancy both dress well considering they both have large chests which makes keeping it professional harder. But they pull it off
You have no idea what you’re talking about. AOC’s big-spend bag is a Telfar tote, which retailed at $250. She is not a spender like Pelosi. You’re a liar, pure and simple.

I would believe she buys second hand luxury brands, but she probably has help or someone looking out for her sizes. Whenever I buy from The Real Real I have to return 90% and tailor the rest. She doesn’t have time for that.

Sorry, I’m not going to talk about men’s clothing here as there is “so little scope for the imagination.” (The answer is always: it is a suit in a sober color and it either fits or it doesn’t fit or it really doesn’t fit).
I legit like Sen. Murkowski’s leopard print dress and pearls combo. Outré, yet work appropriate. Does anyone have an ID?
And I’m loving the juxtaposition of the vermillion dress and turquoise beads on whoever that is (and I know I should know who that is).
Kyrsten Sinema, who is often wearing very Modcloth-like outfits (but more upscale) - I sorta love that she's brought a little rockabilly picnic vibe to the Senate
