BINGO
Yep. The demographic no one talks about.
Nice try, pinheads. The numbers of vaccinated people catching Delta, with really high viral loads, are alarming. Don't put that shat on "poor black people."
Instead, maybe your focus should be on vaccine efficacy with vaccinated people.
The vaccines need 70% of the adult population to be truly effective. We've taken too long to get vaccinated. Too many people have been procrastinating for too long. It's not a racial thing because the exact same demographic is the holdout across racial lines. There's lots of blame to go around.

Anonymous wrote:I just want to know what the end game is. I’m not masking forever to protect anti vaxxers. If it’s until younger kids can be vaccinated, fine, but state that.

I’m certainly avoiding DC now because of it. My family is visiting from the west coast and we’ll be changing plans to visit MD tourist sites.
Excellent call -- everyone knows the air is safer in Maryland.
NP but I think PP is avoiding DC to avoid wearing a mask indoors. And that is my thought as well. I’ll go to Maryland to grocery shop, eat at restaurants, get coffee, etc. I’m done wearing masks indoors, I already followed the rules for a year and got vaccinated to protect vulnerable people. And the rest of the country is just living life at this point.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Totally fine, we never stopped masking indoors even after we were vaccinated because we have an unvaccinated child and it’s easy to mask indoors.
Now, if anyone tries to force me to wear a mask while running or to mask my preschooler on city sidewalks, the answer is no. There us zero evidence that is necessary to protect people, even with Delta (assuming social distancing is possible and interactions are truly fleeting— we wear masks outdoors in crowded areas or for prolonged contact).
Let’s just be rational. Please.
"even with delta"
You don't sound rational.
