They are public servants and we are the people who pay them and want to know. It’s only theater if you don’t want to hear the truth.

Accountability for those who planned and executed the coup attempt.
Adjustments to protocols for the DC national guard and Capitol Police
Adjustments to the physical plant to ensure the US Capitol is secure.
Shine light on all of the cockroaches involved.

The officer's testimony was powerful and several members of Congress choked up. I am so grateful that Pelosi put Cheney and Kinzinger on the committee. I will be recycling Kinzinger's quote when I I hear false equivalency on BUT George Floyd protests. "There is a difference between breaking the law and rejecting the rule of law."

I hope those in mainstream media who said Pelosi made a bad move are eating their words but they lost their moral high ground years ago. There is no "both sidesing."

What is the expected/desired outcome from this commission? Truly curious... do they do the hearings and then we move on as if nothing happened? What might change?
