I'm ok with tipping around 10% at a regular restaurant for takeout but I'm not tipping 20%--why would I pay the same amount for takeout as I do for table service when I'm not receiving the same level of service (especially now that restaurants are mostly fully functional again).
Was tipping 20% for takeout when the restaurants weren't fully open.
Now I'm tipping 10%. I'm with you PP, I had to think about why I would be tipping 20% for takeout right now.
Dining in, yes, 20%, even with bad service.
I don't tip at Panera if I am the one picking it up inside the restaurant.
If it's a curbside pickup, then I'll tip.
