Why? It's easy to get an A because teachers grade things like attendance and paying attention in class, turning homework, and a bunch of other little mundane tasks. So the A isn't really a reflection of learning.
I hear you, but my kid is on an IEP. I was very worried and had asked pointedly how they were doing. Teachers all said fine. They are in middle school and their grades are posted. They got As and Bs on tests. None of their grade was attendance-based from what I saw in ParentVUE. Sorry, but they owed us more of a warning if the kid regressed so much.
You’re putting way too much stock into the SOLs.
