My DC is anxiously awaiting a decision from Syracuse Newhouse. I vote for Newhouse all the way! Congrats.

There shouldn't be.

But I suppose it is the same argument as "don't pay $10K for Harvard, take the full ride to 'Bama!"

Hey OP it's 'cuse all the way, no question whatsoever.

Before she makes her decision, she should speak to Newhouse alums. Since I am one, I will respond.

She would be out of her mind to give up this opportunity. Getting into Newhouse is the golden ticket. They literally hold your hand through school and give you great internship opportunities. Those internships more often than not turn into full-time employment. The alumni network has enthusiasm that is off the charts and they will hire fellow alumni before anyone else. There is a reason Jimmy Fallon believes Syracuse will win the NCAA tournament, it is because all of his interns came from Newhouse. How do I know this? Because my son is one of them.

I understand a PP Who said that their journalist friend is screaming for her to go to Syracuse. I feel the same way but frankly, if she doesn’t accept, there is a line of kids who will be happy to take her place and appreciate it.

Go ‘Cuse!

I agree with this.

Same here.
