You know which parents here have children who start racist SM accounts or bully in person. They want to make sure the worst consequence is a tap on the wrist. I just wish they’d name their school so families of color know to avoid it.
They don’t need to name it. It’s all of them

And that’s truly the reason why I’m considering independent school as well. I do think to myself - at what cost. Wish there was a public school that could incompass what I would like (resources/academics) with the diversity. Haven’t yet found one.

None of the independent schools are the “ideal” environment for black boys during the early years. Wherever you choose, your child will quickly come to realize they are Black and will be treated different from their peers. Unfortunately, the make up of independent schools have not changed in decades. The expectation is for the black boy to assimilate, be passive and not out perform his peers. My black son is at an independent school, but only because the schools have resources that I can’t find in my local public schools. Black little girls seem to do a little better.

+1. What I was thinking. They knew they were being an a$$ when they wrote it which is why they started with a disclaimer.
Newsflash- kids focusing on themselves still get picked on because of race.
