Not true. FCV recruits more aggressively than any other club in the area. Definitely not full or ever full of you can pay. Your DC just may not be a good fit for them.

ECNL-R is nothing more than rebranded NPL. The only significant change is that top ECNL-R teams that win their Division can play in the lower level ECNL showcase brackets. Beyond that it is no sort of promotion/relegation system and it isn't a club tryout to enter ECNL. The clubs would have to apply just like any other club.
Agreed, but a couple former DA teams had to take a lap in ECNLR before being given ECNL for next season.
