I have a friend whose 1st grade kid has never attended a single special. They log off after a certain time and don’t log back in. No one cares. We are in APS.

She’ll be fine.

Read to her, make sure she knows her letter sounds. Beyond that, an entire section of kids in 1st grade next year will know nothing. It’s FINE!! Make sure you keep your job. That’s much more valuable to your daughter’s long term development than sitting next to her during virtual school.

K is optional in Virginia.
