Man here; this is correct.
Some guys at the gym DONT wear shorts over their tights to show off their package

Anonymous wrote:WTF is up with guys wearing these tights/leggings with a pair of gym shorts on top of them? Is there some sort of practical reason as to why some guys do this? It baffles me and seems like the dumbest fashion statement akin to me wearing a bra over a top.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I can’t believe this is even being questioned. Compression leggings are used to keep everything in place (the balls and dick flap around less when running and/or working out). The shorts go over it because the leggings are really tight and can show the outline of the shaft to the dick head. I doubt anyone who works out cares what others think are fashionable when working out.
Except...this is a new phenomenon. What did y’all do before this trend?

My teenage sons do this ONLY because they wear a uniform for sports and they need the shorts to show, even in the cold. There is no other circumstance where they would wear this style. They just wear track pants to do other things - which are not bulky sweat pants. I agree that guys that wear this style to work out look strange. Although, there is a guy in my neighborhood that runs in just tights, and that also looks a little odd, but with his fit body he can rock the tights, so it's not offensive or anything.
