His wife was also pretty, but Nikki had a hot body, natural beauty + a solid college education.
Most men would cheat with a woman like Nicole.
That is a fact.
Most men do not leave their families to pursue a new life with their affair partners.
And rarely do they do away with their entire families over cheating.
Chris already confessed plus gave sordid details on how he murdered his family.
He claims that he wishes it never happened, but it did and real life dictates that one is penalized for a crime.
Chris needs something to occupy his time while in prison and this is an excellent distraction.
Ultimately he knows fundamentally that he will never ever grasp freedom.

i agree! she changed her name and moved to Florida! this screams guilty, guilty, guilty!! does anyone know her new name? it’s like vanessa or something.
I don't see this as very compelling. Do you interface with the public at all? If you did you would realize people are bonkers. She probably gets death threats and dirty used tampons in the mail. She probably has been advised to do this from a security consultant.
Add on to the fact that Florida has a 'Stand Your Ground' Law and no income tax = its why you get a bunch of nutcases with dodgy pasts.

she was the literal worst. but that doesn't mean she deserved to get murdered.
What’s the story with this? Netflix doc does not cover.
In addition to the MLMs and driving the family into debt (not absolving Chris of his part of this but they lived far, far beyond their means), she just comes across as a deeply unlikeable person, obsessed with social media and attention. It's unclear if her MLM schemes brought in any incomes, and they were up to their eyeballs in debt. She comes across as the sort of person who wants a certain lifestyle and image and will spend to get it, which of course means she's not all that different from a large number of Americans. Obviously, that does not mean she deserved what happened to her, and he clearly deserves the heaviest punishment possible.
But it also shows how we've been conditioned to think less of victims who aren't as sympathetic.
If I recall she was making a decent salary, but their problem was money management. They should have sold that house to get out from under the debt, and rented something cheap to pay their bills. Easy solution, but
you'd be surprised how common that is with many people and professionals. The constant video was very annoying and not healthy for their family life. However, I find Chris and Nicole to be the worst villains. Shanann was what you saw and what you got. Those two were the worst, acting like normal people instead of the horror shows they really were. The worst monsters blend in, but have no problem destroying lives and families.
Uh, yes. Of course Chris was the worst villain - he's the one that killed his wife and three children!
Yes Nicole didn't have a hand in that, but indirectly she did. Of all the single men out there it's baffling why she chose a married man to have an affair with.
She had a role in the outcome and I suppose for the rest of her life she will pay that penalty. Married is married, women should understand those men are off limits.
I don't think anyone is saying she's blameless. She did something crappy.
But he is the murderer and the psychopath. Your typical family annihilator.

He likely is thinking that there are some legal loopholes that he can weasel his way into.
Ha!!!!!
I have heard him speaking to a few lawyers online >>> who are telling him so much b.s.
He actually is buying what they are selling.
He did the most evil thing any person could ever do.
He murdered his beautiful wife, their adorable little girls alongside his unborn baby son.
He snuffed the life out of those he was entrusted with to protect, love and advocate for.
A cardinal sin.
He had the option of divorcing his wife.....
Instead he chose annihilation as an option so he wouldn’t have to pay out spousal + child abuse.
And what blows my mind is how he actually thought that he would get away with everything‼️

Anyone think he is doing this to rat on the mistress?
Are you confusing murder cases?
Chris Watts GF/OW had no hand in the murders or the desecration of the bodies. That was all him. So there’s nothing to charge her with or reduce his sentence with.
Now if this was Jennifer Dulos or Kelsey Berreth, where the OW actually helped clean up the crime scene - then, yeah.
Nicole Kessinger claims she didn't know he was married and yet she searched terms like "marrying your mistress" and "man I'm having an affair with says he will leave his wife." She spent hours looking at Shannann's fb page and in the days before the murder she spent 2 hours looking up wedding dresses on the internet. Those are the facts.
I think it is pretty clear that Nicole Kessinger definitely had something to do w/the untimely deaths/murders of Shan’ann, Bella, Celeste ➕ Baby Niko.
Why do I think this?
Because she has lied so much that she must be covering something up.
She claimed that she had no idea that Chris’s wife was pregnant.
Yet she searched his wife’s name on Facebook where Shanann had a very active account which was set to Public.
In it, she provided a ton of updates relating to her new baby.
Plus, when Chris spoke w/investigators while in Dodge Correctional in WI, when speaking about murdering Shanaan and using a shovel to dig a shallow grave for her corpse - he referred to “us” digging/shoveling vs. “I.”
Huge faux pax.
Chris Watts will NEVER ever get out of prison.
I can promise you that.
Until he goes out in a body bag....
All of the crime podcasts I listen to (a lot) believe he acted alone. They go into a deep dive of the evidence and explore if Nicole had anything to do with it but ultimately she did not. He acted alone and he's a huge dick.
