Haha, I should tell him.

A 1600 would get you on the list everywhere. A 36 may or may not. Some states require a 36/36/36/36 (CA/TX/?).
So stumped. DC showed me a classmate's mom posting screenshot of 1600 SAT, but kid not on 2022 PS list (I just looked it up). How does that happen? Also see a kid on list who is NMSF and rejected @ Chicago. Doesn't make sense (to me).
Is the kid a current senior? That's who is included.
Yes, a senior. My HS BF made it all the way through - he loved it.
What does it mean by getting all the way through? What does this get you?

NMSF is based on PSAT.
As for the perfect SAT, it's possible they didn't check some box that allows for their scores to be released to third parties or something like that...if they care a whole lot, they can contact the department of Ed...

Anonymous wrote:The US Presidential Scholar nominee list for 2022 is posted. Our school has over 20 students, however some students that I know personally who got perfect SAT/ ACT scores are not listed here. Why is that?
My DS junior took SAT last month and received a 1600. I was wondering if OP can post what the criteria is to be nominated. The website says it is based on scores for the general category.
