Develop working relationships with assistants etc
Time to ask for ADA accommodations per CDC guidance
Voice concerns about mitigation procedures

This should be a week max. They are estimating a 4 day turnaround for ADA forms. It's pretty difficult to actually know what the concerns will be without the students.


Serious my biggest concerns would be what to do with students who wear bandana masks or take off their masks. How to make lunch safe, I don’t need to be on the classroom to know 16 kids maskless for 40 min is dicey.

No, it’s so the APES think their kids are going back soon. I get needing to process ADA forms but that’s not connected to teachers going back without kids.

Teachers who need time to adjust are allowed to teach from the building already.

I see a lot of nannies/babysitters and au-pairs in the future for APS families. Most likely maskless as necessary... this delay to in-person teaching is so counter-productive to the community.

same! I have been wanting to go back since the fall and even advocating for it. I'm just annoyed that I would need to go to school to teach to an empty classroom. it doesn't make sense to me, and it really would increase my risk. I'm not going to fight this, I just don't get it
