It is the equivalent of saying that everyone in DC is constantly going to the Lincoln Memorial. People party, but they party like college students - frat parties, neighborhood bars and house parties.
As for alumni networks - Tulane has a decent alumni group in DC, but I would never consider that it has helped open any doors for me, and in my professional life I rarely meet other Tulane grads.

My DC received a substantial merit scholarship at Tulane. Nothing from Wake. DC loves both. Is picking Tulane a no-brainer?
