They call out all the lies, regardless of political persuasion.
It's not your fault that Trump just happens to lie more than any other human being, or that 98.7% of those associated with Fox double as pond scum

Being married to that must be unbearable. No advice, just sorry.
Sounds good, no politics rule on house visits. Quite mature. Why aren’t you considering it? Schools have it.
I don’t bring up politics to him. However, I don’t like the implication that he can tell me what to watch in his house, and also dictate what is spoken in my house.
In addition, I am deeply disturbed by the fact that he dismisses my hatred of trump as political, when it’s not, and frames the nature of our conflict as a political one. It’s not, I’m moderate, and it’s about character and morals. The fact that he can so vehemently defend his support of trump is appalling to me. He demonizes my views, tells me to stifle them, when in reality, he’s the one who should be ashamed of who he supports and what that represents.
Listen, I hate trump as much as you, but you need to cool it.
You FIL has every right to dictate what station is on in his house.
The "no politics" request is just that, a request. And it's a good one actually, for all concerned.
You know what his politics are and yet you tuned into CNN in his house, that tells him (and the rest of us) that you don't shy away from conflict. Hence his need for the request.
People like you are going to be hilarious in 2024 when Trump is elected again. Keep thinking it's just politics

I'm not sure you can be certain you aren't married to that your FIL feels comfortable acting up and your DH has said nothing... think about it
