Mr Rogers is a TV show made for kids. While it has had its notable moments, it is a show that mostly avoids serious adult topics of the times. Notice I said mostly. And that's exactly how the Biden townhall was, an artificially toned down show made for children, or for those with the mental capacity of children.
I love Mr Rogers - I watched his shows while learning English as a teenager.
After emigrating from which Slavic shithole?

Did you watch Biden’s town hall? I have no idea why you would describe it as “an artificially toned down show made for children.”
It wasn’t R-rated, and there wasn’t gleeful talk about assaulting women. But it was s straightforward discussion of policy, appropriate for the event.

Can't believe I have to spell this out. Mr Rogers episodes are highly produced, with predefined topics and little if any challenges between the host and guest. There are no disagreements, no confrontation with opinions from different and competing points of view. This is exactly what the Biden townhall was. As such it is produced for people who are not engaged to expand their understanding, but simply to have their existing bias confirmed.
Wow. I could have sworn that you were describing Fox.
So you are saying that Mr Rogers is like Fox News?
Op, you obviously understand English but either willfully don’t understand nuance so you feel like a master troll or you truly don’t get nuance. I can recommend some great neuropsychologists.

You got it. I have no problem having my pre-existing biases against white supremacy and Q Anon confirmed.

There aren’t always two sides that deserve equal consideration or merit discussion. “Both side”erism is crap.
Right? OP, what is the other side to anti-racism? Mr. Rogers was supposed to say, "Oh, just as long as your family doesn't fly the stars and bars, then your racism is okay." Or "Yes, Johnny has Tourette's, which really can appear as slap stick humor, don't you think. Just make sure you only laugh at him BEHIND his back."

Trump supporters don't understand what adult conversation really looks like. If someone isn't yelling, they get bored or nervous.
This is so true. Trump supporters NEED reality-style friction and drama; they think relationships (both romantic and political) require jealousy, fighting and belittling to be authentic. "The Left" find relationship meaning and authenticity through old-school kindness, manners and respect.
Biden's Town Hall was a mature discussion about mature topics with mature people. So refreshing, calming and authentic.
