I agree. I’m not a nanny but a parent who hired a nanny. I would not be comfortable with this and OP was also not comfortable with it. Go with your inner feeling. I can say that I never looked back at a nanny I DIDN’T hire and say gosh I wish I had. A mile can be a long way in rain sleet and snow also. It doesn’t matter. It didn’t work out.
