Again - you can contract Covid-19 multiple times.

If ACB is positive, she will have to quarantine 14 days. That completely closes the window the Senate has to push her nomination through pre-election.

The two weeks BEFORE the election the Senate is in recess for the campaign trail.

After the election and if McSally (heavily favored) wins, the GOP won't have the majority it needs to vote her nomination through.

So - yeah - they're finished if she's down for the count.


She's been exposed to multiple positive people - so she's required to quarantine for 14 days, per CDC.


So its a done deal. She can't be put forth for an official nomination and/or go through the grueling Senate Judiciary vetting process and hearings either.

They're not going to do it by Zoom.
