This did not happen. I don't know of any players from Bethesda or Maryland United who went to McLean because of Covid restrictions.

McLean went 4-0 against your older teams winning by a combined score of 15-4 this season. Are you looking forward to the future?
Well, that explains the butt whooping they get every time... just because girls play up doesn't make them great. Sorry, it doesn't. Likely McLean 05s need position players. My DD has been keeper for 05s before, doesn't mean she wants to be on the team. Good excuse tho.

Thought on Loudoun Soccer? Not money wise. We know they’ll defraud parents again.
Northam considering a lockdown in spring. That will make them fold as a (corrupt) business.

No S Sherlock. It's been that way for years, McLean teams get better with age. #dosomeresearch
Why is that?
See above. McLean is a club that attracts players. They continue to make the rosters better as time goes on.
While it is true that success attracts good players, it is impossible to grow competitive teams at U17 and U18 without internal development. These days it's probably 30% addition, and 70% development. Years back, it was probably more even when they were a "destination" club.
Congrats on a crappy covid season where a quarter of the games have been played, practice schedules interrupted, Bethesda kids fleeing to Mclean because they can't play in Montgomery County. So on and so forth. This season doesn't mimic anything similar to a ECNL season.
But hey....whatever
Well, 06 VDA whooping McLean over the years 5w 1t, but hey, whatever. McLean getting better (lost last time 3-0)
McLean has rarely been near the top before U16 with any team. So you are clearly new to this and haven't done much research. Since I have had multiple kids go through this, it is always funny to hear the young parents brag at the young ages. It means nothing, don't be surprised when McLean beats you at U16 and above. It always happens. Their style of play is going to lead to mistakes at the younger age groups but then leads to consistency and domination at the older age groups. Same narrative all the time that everyone is catching up but then same result for McLean. Best club in the DMV before ECNL, before DA, during DA, after DA. But congrats on your U10-15 success and enjoy it while it lasts!
They have you drinking that kool aid hard. It’s recruiting, not style of play. The kids at McLean for the younger age groups won’t be there for the older ages. Do CW and NM actually have you convinced that McLean’s older teams improve rapidly because of style of play? That’s a good one. I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you if you’re interested.
