Yes—60 day old baby here. We use ktan (husband)/ring sling (me) every day and have never used our stroller. We go on several walks a day.

A 24 pack of toilet paper and a huge soap refill in each bathroom. Leave them in plain view (yes, on the floor), if you will have helpers.

I'm having my 3rd soon and you all have me seriously considering the Snoo.

We got a three sided crib that attached to the edge of our bed. Worked great and much easier to night feed.

The only thing that I couldn't live without that I think I didn't see elsewhere on this thread are Gerber cloth diapers that we use as burp cloths/general mess catchers. I often put them under my boob when breastfeeding to catch any leakage and we put them under DC's head when on a playmat to prevent us from having to wash the whole mat if there's spit up. We use them constantly.

I agree with Boppy ( I still use mine to sit on). Also agree with food. Baby carrier might be a necessity for some babies. My older DS loved snoozing in the carrier. DD preferred to sleep swaddled in her bed. Currently, DS (at 5) can sleep anywhere but DD only sleeps in her bed.

All the breastfeeding supplies: boppy, Nipple cream, nursing pads, those lansinoh gel pads that you can freeze or heat and put in your bra when your breasts are sore, nipple shields, a good lactation consultant. I really wasn’t prepared for how difficult and painful breastfeeding was the first few months (I know not everyone has this experience but I’ve also spoken to many new moms who do/did)

Postpartum care supplies (another thing I didn’t think of! I had an episiotomy and was really sore for awhile): witch hazel pads, those giant maxi pads, peri bottle, an “instant ice maxi pad“ thing, loose fitting/comfortable underwear.

For the baby: Halo swaddle sacks, a good wrap carrier (We has a boba but there are many good ones), a swing or bouncy seat to set baby down (we had the giant fisher price swing that plugged in and could swing front-back or side to side. It was great. But every baby seems to like something different when it comes to swings/bouncy seats so you may want to wait and see.) Pacifiers (ours loved the Nuk)
