I’m not forcing her. She says she just wants to play in games outside the county where she won’t have to wear it. I told her I think she owes it to her team to practice with them and not take the easy way out. If she wants to quit the team, we will let her. But she doesn’t want to quit.
I played soccer through college. While I applaud those that can exercise in masks, I am not one of them. I have tried running in masks and it gives me an incredible headache. Playing soccer I imagine would cause an even great one as it is even more strenuous.
OP, I'd also like to point out that you say above you are making her practice/not quit, but then say she can change teams if she wants. Your DD likely hears the double message too and wants to please you. For her mental health, please let her change teams if the mask is not for her.
