Tell him “yes there is a way. He does karate and handyman work. Not like you who rolls from one side of the couch to the other and thinks it is exercise.”

Zabka looks really good. Love the story (for the most part). Love Macchio, as always. Great nostalgia and a bit of an update for the youngsters. The Cobra Kai reunion was heartbreaking, esp in light of real events.
And Johnny's one-liners are THE BEST. And when he gets his computer hooked to the internet . . . . LOL. "Hasbrown Cobra Kai." LOL. I think the story of him v. Larusso from his perspective changes how you view Larusso in Karate Kid. And Larusso comes off as a DB in this show. #TeamJohnny
And, yes, every time that Cobra flashed at the end, I say in my best sinister voice: "Cobra Kaaaaaaaaaaiiiiii."
I’m so crushing on Johnny. It’s a bit ridiculous, but I am 😍
Join the club. That’s why all the moms watch this shit with their kids. They fantasize about a Johnny to get a break from their dorky little husbands burping and farting with their stinky feet up on the ottoman.

Anonymous wrote:I just started watching this and love it. I let my 12 yo watch episodes after I finish them, so I know the spots when I need to mute or skip. She's really into it too.

It's sort of unrealistic how FAST all these kids became karate stars, right? Like one episode they don't know any karate, two episodes later they are the best karate doers who ever lived?
Also, it seems unrealistic to me that either Johnny or Larusso would still be as good at karate now as they were when they were teenagers. Doesn't seem like either has been practicing. As someone in my late 40s, I don't think you can just snap your fingers and remember everything you learned as an athlete as a kid.
BUT I LOVE THE SHOW.
You are right about the karate skills, but this is The Karate Kid Universe where Daniel and Johnny are the antiheroes and we love it.
Where is Season 3?
