I grew up in a church where everyone was called Brother or Sister Last Name. Outside of church everyone was Mr./Mrs. Last Name. I prefer for children to call adults Mr./Mrs.

Our friends are uncle/auntie if Indian, Mr./Ms. First name if not. Everyone else is Mr./Ms./Mrs. Last Name

Friends of mine whom she has known since birth, “Mr./Mrs. First Name.” Neighbors, parents of her own friends, “Mr./Mrs./Ms. Last Name.”

Mr or ms first name.

I know some adults who have the maturity and morals of a 3 year old, but you can carry on thinking that you’re worthy of titles because you physically survived to adulthood.
