At my ES, all students are being taught by teachers from our school.Anonymous wrote:Did anyone hear whether the DL kids will be separated from the hybrid kids in class assignments? Is there any chance that the DL kids will still be placed in larger classrooms with teachers from other schools?

The kids who picked hybrid when we had to choose hybrid or virtual. We are supposedly only all virtual for quarter 1. Most don’t believe this but if we actually do go back to school they will need to start with separate groups or redo the entire master schedule mid year.
FCPS hasn’t said this. They will re-evaluate for the end of quarter 1.

Our Principal got all the dates crossed and basically couldn't give the parents any feedback on when we can anticipate getting class schedules and teacher assignments? Is it planned for the week of the 24th or the 31st? [Talking about ES.]
I'm a teacher and already received my class list. So you're probably definitely know by the 24th. They'll be asking teachers to reach out to families a lot before school starts.
I wish I had my list!! - another teacher

They will not be separated per Rachna Sizemore's town hall the other night.
Our principle told us that classes were being split based on hybrid v DL selection. He said they’re doing it this way so it’ll be easier to transition to hybrid, if conditions allow. I think it’s funny that they’re still keeping up appearances that we might go in person at any point this year.
It's going to be even funnier to see your reaction when it happens.
Actually Nrabrabd said tonight “in the interest of transparency” that this wasn’t likely and if students went back before a vaccine it would be “in cohorts” of the most needy/vulnerable. Which prob means SPED kids and FARMS families (bc of food needs)
I missed the town hall tonight. Brabrand actually said it's unlikely that kids will be back to in person school before a vaccine?
