We are a parent of a child at Auburn Fairfax. You would be better off leaving your child in a window-less basement, than sending them to Auburn. Full Bloom (parent) is utterly corrupt and disinterested in anything to do with the business, other than collecting tuition. We had 3 report cards this year - 2 were missing half the subjects and they didn't notice. The third has weird descriptions of classes with no information about students and awful grammar. Some of the teachers are unstable - others are unprofessional and uneducated to such an alarming degree, I can't believe they haven't been shut down. I hear Fairfax pulled their accreditation (don't know if that's true) and that they are closing the high school (don't know if that's true). But I wouldn't bother.

For fairfax, I am sure that the school is licensed. Yes, the school did see a decline during the pandemic, but so did some other SN private schools. Fairfax is trying its best to come back strong. It still has a lot of pluses. Their social skills program is very strong. So is their PE. Some teachers are better than others, but that goes for all SN schools. You won’t get the same quality in each classroom.

We reached out to Auburn couple of months back and today someone reached out and is scheduled to talk to us about the program. Having read all the comments I am not so sure if we should still pursue Auburn. The curriculum listed on the website is impressive but not sure how to know if they have been able to deliver what they have promised on their website.
We are pulling our child out of the lower school this year. They are not offering anything promised and I can't believe how much money we have wasted on this subpar program. My kid likes his friends but he's not getting any of the supports that are supposedly built into the curriculum.
