No outbreaks at mine with over 100 kids (most are the daycare kids and there is one distance learning class for ES students). It has not shut down a single day.

We're doing this two days per week for my kindergarten student. She loves it. No issues at all.

My daughter has a part time job teaching a pod at a child care center. Zero issues.

I would just put my kids in regular in person school assuming there is a spot. It is basically the same risk level (which I don't think are significant), with fewer benefits of in person schooling. You are still distance learning with the limitations of DL -- you just have some more socialization opportunities and added child care. It is also probably more expensive.

We are very happy with our 5yo at StudyHub 3 days/week, they facilitate and supplement the DL

I don't believe in PODs. I don't see how they are that different than school. We just got a dedicated tutor who comes 3 days a week, I take a day and my wife takes a day. it works out without the drama of other parents

Kids don’t spread to family members. Not one case has been proven and most studies say they can’t. Kids aren’t dying or having long term issues.

This is demonstrably false misinformation. You want just one example? Look at the mayor of Atlanta. Her kid got it first per delayed testing results and then spread it to the rest of the family.

No freaking way! That would be putting them in close contact with others for no good reason. This is risky at best.

The SACC center at our local elementary school has been open for 3 weeks. They are following all the safety protocols. No outbreaks.

Places like FL are attempting to conceal the data. It got a lot of press when the person responsible for the statistics was fired for not towing the line. There was also even an article in the post today about another red state keeping it super secret.
